AUDITIONS & TECH INTERVIEWS
24-Hour Play Project
With content sourced by the RRHS community, the students of the Riverdale Ridge Theatre Company will create a completely original production in 24 hours. Creators will move into the auditorium at 7pm on Friday and will perform whatever they come up with at 7pm on Saturday night. Community members will tune in throughout the 24 hours to make more suggestions and give feedback to help create the performance.
This production is a Green Room project. The Green Room is a space backstage where performers and technicians wait when they are not onstage. This is frequently a place where new ideas and sparks of creation happen and this is what we hope our Green Room projects do for our students. Encouraging young artists to create and produce their own work supports the growth and development of the arts industry.
Auditions - Wednesday, 4.3, 5-7pm
Students wishing to participate, performers AND technicians, will attend the auditions. Auditions will include a series of prompts and activities to demonstrate collaborative creativity.
