RRHS Course Selection Process

The RRHS Counseling Department, in partnership with our incredible advisory teachers, is excited to introduce a new and improved process for course selection! We’re moving toward a comprehensive four-year planning model to better support every Raven’s academic journey. Counselors are meeting individually with every freshman and transfer student to get the process started. Beginning in early Spring semester, our formal 4 year process will begin in advisory for all Ravens.

As part of this process, students will begin with a credit review to better understand their progress toward graduation. Using that information, they’ll explore course offerings at The Ridge and develop a personalized plan for the next four years. Each year, advisory teachers and counselors will work together with students to review class selections and ensure they stay on track toward their goals.
