Leadership

Welcome from Principal Clark
Cody Clark is entering his fourth year as the Lead Learner at Riverdale Ridge High School. He is proud to serve the incredible students, staff, and families who make up the Raven commUNITY, and he remains deeply committed to creating a place where all belong, grow, and thrive.
Originally from the Black Hills of South Dakota, Mr. Clark has called Colorado home for over two decades. The 2025–26 school year marks his 21st year in education. He began his career as a Physical Education teacher before moving into school leadership as a Dean, Assistant Principal, and Athletic Director. In 2013, he became a high school principal at a charter school in Westminster before joining Riverdale Ridge in 2022.
Mr. Clark holds a B.A. in Human Performance & Sport with an emphasis in K–12 Physical Education from Metropolitan State University of Denver, and a Master’s in Administrative Leadership & Policy Studies from the University of Colorado Denver.
He is passionate about building strong, trusting relationships that fuel a cohesive, caring, and inclusive school culture. While he champions instructional practices that are innovative, engaging, and grounded in research, he firmly believes that the culture and climate of a school are what truly drive student learning and success.
Outside of school, Mr. Clark enjoys hiking, snowboarding, traveling, and spending time with his family. He lives in the area with his wife, two daughters, and their Golden Mountain Doodle, Emmitt.
