Welcome from Principal Clark

Cody Clark is the Lead Learner at Riverdale Ridge High School.  He is very proud to be a part of this community and to work with all of our great students, staff, and other stakeholders that call RRHS home.

Mr. Clark is originally from the Black Hills of South Dakota, and has lived in Colorado for the last 20 years.  The 22-23 school year will mark Mr. Clark’s 18th year in education.  He started his career as a Physical Education teacher before moving into school administration as a Dean and AP/AD, before eventually becoming the high school principal at a charter school in Westminster in 2013.  He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Human Performance & Sport with an emphasis in K-12 Physical Education from Metro State University, as well as a Master of Arts in Administrative Leadership & Policy Studies from the University of Colorado at Denver.

Mr. Clark is very passionate about fostering positive relationships of trust in order to build a cohesive, caring and inclusive learning community.  While he believes in and guides his instructional staff to utilize innovative, engaging, and research-based lessons, he firmly believes that the culture and climate of a school building has tremendous influence on the learning and overall academic success of all students.

In his downtime, Mr. Clark likes to hike, snowboard, travel, and spend time with his family.  He has a wife, two daughters, and a Golden Mountain Doodle named Emmitt.
